Nestlé and its suppliers , Cargill and ETG | Beyond Beans , are empowering farmers to plant and nurture shade trees to reduce emissions at cocoa farms . Up to two million trees will be planted in Ghana and Côte d ' Ivoire to reforest degraded land and reduce supply chain carbon emissions .
