Leela Palace Udaipur’ s energy management efforts have earned the SEEMS Platinum National Energy Management Award. The hotel uses electric boats on Lake Pichola, which run on eco-friendly, highpowered batteries. These boats use less fuel and help keep the lake’ s water clean. The hotel conserves water and reduces waste by using organic waste composters and following strict water management practices. Working with Phool, the hotel upcycles waste flowers from temples and hotels into charcoal-free incense sticks.
