Radisson RED Oslo City Centre is a Verified Net Zero hotel. It has eliminated Scope 1 and 2 emissions and is working to reduce Scope 3 emissions as much as possible. The hotel uses renewable energy – its heating comes from the city’ s district heating system, which relies on heat from waste-to-energy plants and data centre waste-heat recovery. The hotel prioritises recycling and it partnered with Dropdrop, where each time a guest borrows a hotel umbrella, a tree is planted.
