They are using clean, green energy – hydropower from the falls – to power this data centre in what is a unique location. They are also able to pre-cool for a big portion of the year because of the temperatures.”
By leveraging cold local temperatures for ambient cooling and building close to clean energy generation, the site achieves remarkable efficiency. Schneider Electric’ s role has evolved from a simple component vendor into an end-to-end lifecycle partner.
“ We’ re supplying everything from agent voltage, low voltage, busware,
UPS, control systems, software and lifecycle maintenance,” Marc continues.“ The conversation is shifting toward prefabricated, modular systems. By integrating components offsite in a controlled environment, we streamline labor, minimise cable and material waste, and significantly reduce time on-site – ultimately driving greater resource efficiency.”
