When Sorouch Kheradmand joined Schneider Electric as Commercial Manager in Japan 12 years ago, his path seemed far removed from sustainability leadership. Trained in mergers and acquisitions, strategy and commercial operations, he had built a reputation for bridging complex business models with financial performance. But his curiosity – and conviction that science and business could work together for the planet – eventually drew him into a new kind of challenge.
“ I always believed in the science of climate change and planetary boundaries,” he says, reflecting on the evolution that led him into the company’ s sustainability mission.
Sorouch is now Schneider Electric’ s Global Head of Sustainability – a role that straddles business transformation and environmental impact. His work involves turning sustainability from theory into action, making it tangible, measurable and replicable across global markets.
