THE SUSTAINABILITY INTERVIEW
From Expedia to ESG leadership Christina’ s career began far from the water sector, at travel giant Expedia, where she led global community impact programmes. She later worked at US-based retailer Mattress Firm before joining Culligan, drawn by what she describes as a perfect intersection of purpose and business.
“ My path has always sat at that intersection,” she says.“ It’ s rare to find a company like Culligan where sustainability is so authentic – where every employee you talk to mentions impact, purpose and mission.”
Culligan’ s emphasis on“ good for the planet is also good for business” is embedded in how the company defines risk, value and growth.“ We have support from from our board of directors and executive leadership team,” Christina says.“ It’ s not just an initiative – it’ s who we are.”

“At Culligan, sustainability starts with water – and it will define the next era of ESG”
