World Economic Forum( WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos began in 1971 when founder Klaus Schwab invited 450 participants to discuss better management techniques. It now brings together thousands of people from heads of state and governments to business leaders and celebrities.

For 2026, the event’ s theme is“ A Spirit of Dialogue” and its programme covers topics including cooperation in a contested world, unlocking new sources of growth, better investing in people, deploying innovation at scale and building prosperity within planetary boundaries.
