THE UK’ S LONGEST ONSHORE WIND TURBINE BLADES
Delivery of the UK’ s longest onshore wind turbine blades is underway at Mill Rig Wind Farm in South Lanarkshire. Each 80m blade will be installed across six Nordex 5.5MW turbines, powering more than 45,000 homes and cutting 27,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually. The 33.4MW project by OnPath Energy will host turbines with 199.5m tip heights – among the tallest in the UK – while boosting local community benefits.
