Ida Krabek leads sustainability at a company at the very forefront . Orsted used to be Danish Oil and Natural Gas ( DONG ). Over the course of a decade it transformed itself into Ørsted - the world ' s biggest offshore wind developer .
Krabek first studied Political Science at the University of Copenhagen , where she enjoyed volunteering as the debate coordinator for the debate club . Later , she studied Political Science at the University of Copenhagen and Public
Policy at University College London .
At Ørsted , she started as Head of Group Environment and moved on up to Head of Global Sustainability .
Her knowldege of public policy did more than inform her corporate work . Krabek served at an Assistant Attache to the Permanent Mission of Denmark to the United Nations in New York . Then she joined DONG , which became Ørsted .
