Continuous ranking in the Corporate Knights Index

For a fourth consecutive year , the company was listed in the Corporate Knights Index of the world ’ s 100 most sustainable companies , which recognised the firm ’ s efforts to meet the 1.5C target set by the Paris climate agreement .

A coal-free energy future

As it makes the move from a black to a green energy company , Ørsted has successfully eliminated 86 % of its coal business and put a goal in place to close remaining coal power operations by 2023 .
