SAP Ariba Part of Syngenta Group ’ s success lies in having a robust e-procurement system .
“ We partner with SAP Ariba to make sure that we have a robust process with functionality in terms of the options , the catalogues , preferred vendors and so on ,” says Gerardo , which is a critical backbone for any procurement organisation .
SpendHQ Then there is performance management , which Gerardo sums up as “ what gets measured , gets done ”.
He says : “ When Syngenta Group started the Accelerate Programme , one of the key success criteria for the programme was to make sure that the group had a very strong and robust performance measurement tool in place . So the team went out to the market to look at a best-in-class tool that
can help us to track the performance of the programme as a whole group ,” says Gerardo .
He adds : “ We selected our colleagues at SpendHQ and the tool has delivered fantastic results , giving us the transparency of real-time data in terms of performance and the flexibility to accommodate different requirements of the different business units .
“ It has been key to make sure that everybody adopts and uses the same tool to report performance .”
Magnit A third key partner is Magnit , which is used regularly in the area of temporary workforce .
Syngenta Group tested the market to find a managed service provider to help it to understand its temporary workforce .
Gerardo says : “ Magnit proved themselves to be a very strong player in this area .
So we selected them as our preferred vendor . And the programme has taken off in a fantastic way .
“ We have several countries already implemented or on the implementation and a fantastic dashboard that is giving us what we need , that visibility of where we have the temporary workforce , what they are doing and how long they have been at the company .”
