BYD’ s Yangwang U9 Xtreme( U9X) set a 308.4 mph production-car record at ATP Papenburg on 14 September 2025, surpassing the 304.1 mph petrol benchmark. Upgrades include 1200V electrics, LFP Blade Battery, four 30,000 rpm motors exceeding 3,000 PS, semislick tyres and DiSus-X suspension.
