What a month that was ! I don ’ t mind admitting that I ’ m a touch weary after a September of extraordinary events . But the weariness is trumped by a genuine feeling of hope .

All of the entrants for our inaugural Global Sustainability & ESG Awards 2024 demonstrated the drive and creativity that abounds in businesses , with the winners taking sustainability to the next level .

Then it came to the events : Sustainability LIVE London ; Sustainability LIVE Climate Week NYC ; Climate Week NYC itself – incredible . It was an honour to meet and listen to so many heroes from the global sustainability scene . To a person , they were inspirational .

News about climate change is often ( and necessarily ) depressing , but I feel uplifted by knowing that there is a global movement of senior sustainability executives with the passion and imagination to change this .
