The inaugural Global Sustainability & ESG Awards 2024 Opened by Glen White , CEO of BizClik and Sustainability Magazine , at the end of Day 1 of Sustainability LIVE London Global Summit , the awards brought together influential and inspiring leaders in sustainability and corporate governance to honour outstanding achievements in sustainability , ESG , diversity , inclusion and more .

The event highlighted the importance of sustainable business practices in today ’ s evolving corporate landscape , showcasing the efforts of organisations that are driving positive change .

Glen White , CEO at BizClik , took to the stage to open The Global Sustainability & ESG Awards with a warm welcome to the audience and an important message to deliver :

Establishing Sustainability Magazine in 2019 and Sustainability LIVE in 2022 , Glen reflected on the challenges of the magnitude when taking on the task to be the voice for sustainability leaders and influencers to drive meaningful change and empower future generations .

Thanking the audience for the dedication to sustainability , Glen explained that it is the job of all of us to learn , share best practices , and make the world a better place to live together – “ We must have a plan ,” he said .

He continued : “ For us , our goal is to be part of the conversation . Our job is to tell your stories , share your strategies , and let those stories and strategies shape the future of business and the world of sustainability . The green economy is growing at an incredibly fast rate and it ’ s an exciting place to be .

“ Global sustainability is a priority , net zero is a priority , education is a priority , supply chain is a priority , humanitarian and social impact is a priority . Let ’ s do better , let ’ s try harder , let our voices in the industry and boardroom be louder , let ’ s make sustainability as important as it needs to be .”
