EVENT REVIEW
Hands-on workshops Sustainability LIVE: Climate Week NYC brought substance over soundbites during the SAP, Sweep and Terraformation workshops. Discussions centred on turning regulatory pressure into commercial advantage, with leaders comparing practical ways to move faster by working together.
Product Carbon Footprinting( PCF) emerged as a test for real progress. The question –“ What is the biggest challenge you face when it comes to Product Carbon Footprinting?” – unlocked candid debate on missing data, supplier engagement and what makes a footprint decision-useful rather than merely auditable.
Conversations also discussed the shift from reporting to action, outlining how technology and process design can embed PCF into R & D, sourcing and day-to-day product decisions at pace and scale.
Nature-based removals provided the strategic backdrop. Reforestation was framed as proven but time-bound, with live insights showing a tightening supply of high-quality credits and the rising cost of delay.
