CLIMATE WEEK NYC 2026
As the largest annual climate event in the world, Climate Week NYC is made up of more than 1,000 events and activities and hosted by Climate Group.
The week, purposefully hosted alongside the United Nations General Assembly, brings together leaders from companies, governments, organisations, charities and communities from around the world to unite them on climate action to drive positive change. Each year has a theme, and 2026’ s Climate Week NYC focused on the energy, the impact, and the action that we drive together. The event officially kicked off with the Opening Ceremony on Monday 21 September featuring speakers including Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, whose keynote focussed on the energy transition as a national security priority, UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband who highlighted multilateralism as a key to climate change and Helen Clarkson, CEO of Climate Group.
