7Nestlé has published a roadmap to

reach net zero by 2050, with near-term targets to cut greenhouse gas emissions 50 % by 2030. It is redesigning packaging to be suitable for a circular economy and developing next generation materials alongside investing more than US $ 124m by 2030 to decarbonise logistics for a number of its brands including Perrier and San Pellegrino.
The company’ s largest coffee brand, Nescafé, surpassed its regenerative agriculture goal in 2024 by sourcing 32 % of its coffee from farmers using more sustainable practices. Participants of this programme achieved a greenhouse gas reduction of up to 40 % per kilogram of green coffee. Nestlé has also launched a global initiative with UNESCO to support a hundred teams of young social impact innovators with grants to develop skills and solutions that support the resilience and sustainability of food systems.
