Garrett
joined Smurfit Kappa , now Smurfit Westrock , in 2000 as a Graduate Trainee and has held a variety of roles throughout his time at the company including Plant Manager , Regional Director , Head of Investor Relations and now Chief Sustainability Officer . Garrett holds a bachelor ’ s degree in Commerce from University College Dublin and has completed postgraduate studies with the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership .
After
earning a PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry from the University of Oxford and completing a Postdoctoral Fellowship , Andrew began his career at Unilever . He took on the role of Environmental Sustainability Leader for Global Supply Chain in 2008 before joining Mondelēz International in 2013 . At Perfetti Van Melle , Andrew looks after sustainability initiatives rolled out across 150 countries worldwide .
