Ezgi Barcenas is the Chief Sustainability Officer at AB InBev , in charge of the company ' s sustainability vision and strategy . Ezgi coordinates across all business functions to advance sustainability and inclusive growth in this role . Her team is working to build a resilient value chain spanning nearly 50 countries by focusing on agricultural development , water stewardship , circular packaging , climate action , and responsible sourcing .

She previously worked in international trade , public health , and international development . Ezgi serves on the Adweek Sustainability Council as well as the INSIDER Financing a Sustainable Future Council . Reuters ' Responsible Business Awards named her a 2022 Sustainability Trailblazer .

In her current role , she oversees the group ' s sustainability portfolio , bringing extensive industry knowledge and experience running social impact programmes to address climate change and diversity . Mun also implemented an extensive training programme to combat human trafficking on airlines and raised over US $ 4mn to fund post-disaster resilience projects .
