Kate , who was formerly Mars ' Global Sustainability Director , rose through the ranks of the confectionary giant while working on sustainable packaging , the Livelihoods Fund for Family Farming , and sustainable sources . After 10 years there , Katie left her role at Mars in 2021 to join CHANEL as the company ' s Global Chief Sustainability Officer .

Prior to beginning her job at Mars , she was the Global Citizenship Manager for eBay . She also held a number of high-level sustainability consulting positions , contributing her knowledge to organisations like Barclays and Etsy . Kate was named one of the Top 30 Women Creating Sustainable Business and 1 of Forbes ' Top 100 Environmentalists .

Ann began working at Colgate-Palmolive in 1991 and has since experienced all four of the company ' s areas , including : production , quality , customer service & logistics , and each of the Colgate divisions .

As the Chief Sustainability Officer , Ann is now in charge of creating and carrying out Colgate ' s global sustainability strategy . She also serves as the team leader for environmental , health , and safety . Before this , Ann oversaw the Customer Service & Logistics organisations for Colgate , GABA , and Hill ' s in Europe .
