THE SUSTAINABILITY INTERVIEW
For Genesys, those values revolve around three principles, one of which is to embrace empathy.
Bridgette says empathy is the anchor that connects sustainability to corporate culture and innovation.
“ When I think about sustainability,” she says,“ I think about how we can make sure that we’ re leaving the world better than how we found it.
“ And also how we integrate sustainability into our business – how can we make sure that it becomes an organic extension of how we work?”
That integration is visible everywhere – from business imperatives to design processes and stakeholder engagement.
“ It’ s how we design, how we communicate and how we make sure we’ re bringing all of our employees and stakeholders to the table in a sustainable, inclusive and responsible way,” she says.
A career defined by purpose Before joining Genesys, Bridgette built a career that spans two decades and multiple industries – from consumer goods to technology and environmental advocacy.
Her sustainability journey began at Yum! Brands, where she held several leadership roles, including Senior Manager of Global Sustainability and Global Director of Sustainability for KFC US.
She later took on the role of Global Category Leader for Packaging and Oil at Pizza Hut, developing strategies to reduce waste and improve sustainable sourcing across a vast global supply chain.
