THE SUSTAINABILITY INTERVIEW
In 2019, Bridgette moved into the nonprofit sector as Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Engagement( Food & Freshwater) at the World Wildlife Fund( WWF), where she collaborated with multinational corporations to improve environmental stewardship. Her leadership extends beyond corporate roles – she is also a founding member of Chief, a private network designed to advance women in executive positions and strengthen female leadership across industries.
This diverse background informs her systems-level view of sustainability today: combining environmental accountability with empathy, governance and inclusive culture.
Responsible AI and the sustainability challenge A major part of Bridgette’ s focus at Genesys involves ensuring that technological progress, particularly in Agentic AI, aligns with environmental responsibility.
“ It’ s a question everyone is asking,” she says.“ AI is an integral part of our strategy and our technology.
“ We make sure that when we look at our design and engineering of AI, we’ re also looking at ways to make sure energy is not going to be wasted.”
Genesys’ approach is proactive, embedding sustainability directly into its technological frameworks.
