The integration of sustainability into software and AI design, she emphasises, is not an afterthought but a foundation.
“ We’ re always mindful of the sustainability aspects of how we do our engineering and product design. It’ s integrated into that.”
Sustainable growth and responsible scale The tension between business growth and sustainability is one of the defining debates of modern corporate strategy.
Bridgette, however, believes that the two can coexist – and even reinforce each other.
She says:“ I think both things can happen. Our leadership is committed to making sure that both can happen at the same time.“ You can have sustainable growth and you can be a sustainable company.”
At Genesys, sustainability is not viewed as a cost or constraint – it’ s a growth enabler.
