THE SUSTAINABILITY INTERVIEW
Making sustainability accessible through education Education is at the heart of Schneider Electric’ s sustainability strategy. The Sustainability School, launched as part of the Partnering for Sustainability initiative, has become a reference point for enterprises seeking practical guidance. Free to access, the platform offers structured learning in multiple languages and helps professionals across industries understand both the risks and opportunities of climate action.
“ Many businesses, especially SMEs, ask why sustainability matters to them,” Sorouch says.“ We show them that it directly affects their customers, supply chains and long-term competitiveness.”
This logic extends beyond compliance. With increasing pressure from clients and regulators for verified emissions data, transparency has become a business necessity.
The challenge, Sorouch argues, is to shift sustainability from a reporting exercise to a driver of innovation.
“ Sustainability should not be feared as complex or risky,” he notes.“ It’ s a strategic transformation that prepares companies for the future.”

“OUR PURPOSE IS TO LEAD BY EXAMPLE AND EMPOWER OTHERS TO FOLLOW”
