former Foreign Affairs officer during Rwanda’ s civil war, Laura’ s passion for change now fuels her work as UPS’ Chief Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Officer. She is helping steer UPS towards its goal of carbon neutrality by 2050, leading sustainability efforts across its global operations.

With

more than 20 years at Cargill, Pilar leads sustainability, communications and corporate responsibility, tackling challenges including climate change, food security and human rights. She has worked across continents redefining sustainable supply chains and serves on the World Food Program USA Board of Directors.
