At Hewlett Packard Enterprise , Monica Batchelder is the leader of a worldwide team that works to advance the commercial value of sustainability while addressing social and environmental problems in partnership with important stakeholders . To ensure the integration of environmental , social , and governance into the business plan of the company , she directs the development and management of strategic programmes , working with senior leaders across the organisation .

Monica initially developed her sustainable business strategies at a boutique consulting firm in Sydney , Australia , where she also provided advice to international businesses and nonprofit organisations on corporate sustainability , social responsibility , and brand purpose .

Valerie is in charge of Citi ' s global sustainability goals and projects , as well as the sustainability and ESG team at the company . She oversees Citi ' s Sustainable Progress Strategy and key projects , such as its US $ 1tn Sustainable Finance Target and the creation of their ‘ Net Zero Emissions by 2050 ’ plan , in collaboration with teams across the bank .

Valerie also directs Citi ' s ESG governance , including the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures ( TCFD ) reporting , as well as working as a spokesperson and counsellor on sustainability trends , stakeholder engagement , ESG integration , and sustainable financing .
