“ We’ ve already reduced over 500 tonnes of CO₂ emissions through these measures,” Angelo reveals.“ Impactful change often starts with the basics.” At the same time, L + R Hotels is trialling and scaling new technologies to future-proof its assets.
“ A notable example is one of our properties where self-powered lodges have been fitted with photovoltaic systems, marking a key step in our transition toward cleaner energy sources,” Angelo says.
L + R Hotels’ journey to net zero The company’ s roadmap to net zero emissions is built on two pillars: energy efficiency and renewable energy adoption.
L + R Hotels is actively exploring AI-driven energy management systems and Internet of Things( IoT) solutions to optimise consumption and reduce waste.
