HOW SUSTAINABILITY REDUCES RISK AND CREATES OPPORTUNITY
As climate risk becomes more apparent, leaders are increasingly connecting sustainability strategy with risk management. However, while the board room focuses on risk reduction, the mood in wider sustainability conversations hasn’ t dampened.
Last month saw the inaugural Sustainability LIVE Chicago and, despite geopolitical pressures, legislative uncertainty and 2025 and 2030 deadlines looming, conversations were filled with hope and opportunity.
This theme of opportunity echoes through the pages of this edition, including:
 • Drahomira Mandikova discussing recycling, circularity, central procurement and innovation at Asahi
 • Airbus’ CEO, CSO and Head of SAF exploring how to decarbonise aviation
 • William Pelton sharing how Phytoform, a member of AWS’ Compute for Climate Fellowship, is developing AI and genome editing for sustainable agriculture.
