Ann joined the American Red Cross in 2005 as a responder to Hurricane Katrina . She has been a contributor to major Red Cross change initiatives , including the establishment of its first ESG office .

In her role , Ann is responsible for leading programmes that include digital accessibility , Latino engagement and Red Cross sustainability programmes .
