Before

corporate sustainability, Allyson’ s career was steeped in science. A geologist by trade, she first applied her knowledge of petrophysics to ExxonMobil, before taking up positions in the US federal government and in universities as a scholar of energy. Since 2019, Allyson has used her expertise to guide Baker Hughes towards sustainability.

With

a career at Baker McKenzie stretching back more than 25 years, Alyssa has risen through the ranks to become its CSO, a role held since 2020. She spearheads the firm’ s sustainability strategy and has been integral to its commitment to reduce its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 53.3 % by 2030.
